[edit] Command
restorebackup restoreworld
[edit] Description
This script will restore a world backup file that you specify.
Prerequisites:
- It must be a valid backup file, eg: world-2010-11-10-0851.tar.gz
- It must be located in world_backups/
Simply copy and paste the file name of the backup you wish to restore. In the example above, I use world-2010-11-10-0851.tar.gz. Your backup must look similar to this.
Simply open backup-restore.txt and paste the filename of the backup you wish to restore from.
Your old world folder will be renamed to world_OLD. Please keep in mind, if you restore from backups twice you will lose the world_OLD file. It will be replaced with a copy of the backup you just restored from. backup-restore.txt will be cleared out when the backup restore operation is finished (even if it fails).
