How To Add mySQL Databases

This guide will show you how to add mysql databases to your managed hosting account.

Step 1 - Log into the customer center

This can be simply acheived by following the customer center login guide

Step 2 - Click on mySQL Databases

Under the Service Additions tab, click mySQL Databases.

Step 3 - Fill out the info

Click Add Database in the right hand corner of the main dialog box.

Simply fill out the required information.

Database name:
  • This will also be the username
Database password: 
  • Make sure this is something you will remember.

Click save when you have all the required information.

Now you will see your database information, print this page for safe keeping later.

    • Customer support is not able to recover mysql passwords. You are only able to change the password.

How To Reset a mysql Password

This guide will show you how to change your database's password.

  • This only applies to self made mysql databases.

Step 1 - Log into the customer center

This can be simply acheived by following the customer center login guide

Step 2 - Click on mySQL Databases

Under the Service Additions tab, click mySQL Databases.

Step 3 - Select your Database

Click on the linked database name to bring up the password change dialog.

Step 4 - Simple and Easy Finish

Database Password: 
  • Fill the new password here

Click Save

Now you will see your database information, print this page for safe keeping later.
