Accessing Console Log
This new feature will allow you to view the current status of your console. Currently, we have added support for Left 4 Dead 2 and Team Fortress 2. More games will be supported with time.
Accessing Left 4 Dead 1/2 Console Logs
There are two options available to you for viewing logs for your server.
Option 1: Web FTP
Your web ftp client is a great way to view logs that are less than 1 megabytes. If the file is larger, you will need to jump to Option 2.
Log into the gamepanel and enter your server's web ftp. Enter the left4dead2 directory.
Find the following file and click on it: cwconsole.log depending on the file size, it may take a while for this to load.
Congrats! You are now viewing the output of your game's console. Refresh the page to update the file.
Option 2: FTP Client
If you are familiar with using an ftp client, simply connect to your gameserver's FTP server and browse to the left4dead2 directory. View/Edit the cwconsole.log file to view your server's console output.
I can't see cwconsole.log!
If you do not see cwconsole.log, chances are you do not have the feature enabled. Submit a ticket with our Customer Center to enable this feature.
